Exhibition Overview

​​

Art NY 25 proudly presents the special exhibition International Galleries Present: The New Contemporary in collaboration with leading international galleries that shape the global art scene. This exhibition explores new sensibilities and discourses in contemporary art through a curated selection of influential galleries from Asia, Europe, and the Americas, each showcasing artists who represent the forefront of today’s artistic practices and possibilities.

Held at the AAA Foundation in Chelsea, Manhattan, the exhibition will be presented in two parts, offering both art professionals and the general public a unique opportunity to experience and reflect on the shifting terrain of contemporary art:

  • Part 1: October 29 (Wed) – November 4 (Tue), 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM

  • Part 2: November 19 (Wed) – November 25 (Tue), 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Operating in a boutique art fair format, all artwork sales will be managed independently by the participating galleries. The organizers will not be involved in any commercial transactions. Art NY 25 aims to offer a hybrid platform that navigates between exhibition and market, proposing a future-forward vision of art within today’s evolving global landscape.

Curatorial Vision

​

Contemporary art no longer adheres to regional boundaries. Art NY 25 highlights a current of “the new contemporary” that transcends borders, genres, and media.

Amidst complex global conditions—social unrest, technological acceleration, political shifts, ecological crisis, and spiritual longing—participating artists examine the human condition and the essence of life from their own perspectives. Through a range of mediums including painting, sculpture, installation, video, and mixed media, their works go beyond visual beauty to engage with profound concepts and insights.

This exhibition aims to bridge a fractured world and demonstrate the power of art to communicate through new sensibilities and languages.

Participating Galleries & Artists

​

Art NY 25 features curated selections from galleries around the globe, each presenting artists who represent their unique vision and curatorial philosophy. These galleries are actively shaping the discourse of contemporary art and offer a vivid display of cultural intersections and artistic diversity.

​

New York remains the epicenter of the global art world. During the fall season—when museums, galleries, art fairs, collectors, critics, and media are most active—the city becomes the focal point of the international art community.

Art NY 25 is not just another exhibition; it is a platform for discovering future artists, advancing critical discourse, and fostering meaningful collaboration among international galleries.

Booth Dimensions & Price

Front wall: 4 meters wide (height 4.2 meters)
Side walls: 1.5 meters deep (height 3.3 meters)
Total wall length: 7 meters  $5,000 USD

​

Note: Wall dimensions may vary slightly depending on booth location, but the total wall length is standardized at 7 meters.

Exhibition Objectives

​

• Promote global cultural discourse through contemporary art
• Present a curatorial-driven alternative to commercially-centered art fairs
• Provide a platform for emerging and underrecognized international artists in New York

A series of special programs will run alongside the exhibition to engage both professionals and the public:

• Curator-led tours and artist talks
• Publication of a comprehensive exhibition catalog and an online viewing room
• Panel discussions on global trends in contemporary art
• October 28 (Tue), 7:00 PM: Critics & VIP Dinner
• October 29 – November 4, 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM daily: Artist talks, symposiums, and special sessions with invited critics
• November 3 (Mon), 8:00 PM: After Party

Art NY 25는 세계 미술의 흐름을 이끄는 주요 국제 갤러리들과 협력하여 특별 전시 “국제 갤러리들이 제안하는 새로운 컨템포러리”를 선보입니다. 이번 전시는 아시아, 유럽, 미주 지역의 영향력 있는 갤러리들이 엄선한 작가들을 통해, 오늘날 현대미술의 새로운 감각과 담론을 탐색합니다.

 

뉴욕 맨해튼 첼시에 위치한 AAA 재단에서 열리는 이번 전시는 두 차례에 걸쳐 진행되며, 미술계 전문가와 일반 관객 모두에게 변화하는 현대미술의 지형을 경험하고 성찰할 수 있는 특별한 기회를 제공합니다.

  • 제1전시: 10월 29일(수) - 11월 4일(화): 오후 1:00 - 오후 8:00

현대미술은 더 이상 지역적 경계를 따르지 않습니다. Art NY 25는 국경, 장르, 매체의 구분을 넘어선 ‘새로운 컨템포러리’의 흐름을 선보입니다.

 

사회적 불안, 기술의 발전, 정치적 변화, 생태적 위기, 영적 갈망 등 복합적인 시대적 정황 속에서, 참여 작가들은 각자의 시선으로 인간 존재와 삶의 본질을 탐구합니다.

회화, 조각, 설치, 영상, 혼합 매체 등 다양한 형식의 작품들은 단순한 시각적 아름다움을 넘어, 심도 깊은 개념과 통찰을 담아냅니다. 이번 전시는 단절된 세계를 연결하고, 새로운 감각과 언어로 대화하는 예술의 가능성을 증명할 것입니다

뉴욕은 여전히 세계 미술의 중심입니다. 미술관, 갤러리, 아트페어, 컬렉터, 평론가, 미디어가 가장 활발하게 움직이는 가을 시즌, 뉴욕은 전 세계 미술계의 이목이 집중되는 장소입니다.

Art NY 25는 단순한 전시가 아니라, 미래의 작가들을 발굴하고, 예술 담론의 방향을 제시하며, 국제 갤러리 간의 실질적 네트워크를 형성하는 장으로서 기능할 것입니다.
